Skittles and Bestiality

So there's the skittles bestiality commercial..

And then there is the Obama refusal to answer where he stands on polygamy press briefing.

And I find myself wondering, is this the "slippery slope" everyone is talking about. Is this the beginning of government sanctioned sexual license?

The President's imbecilic reasoning. I listen and I wonder how did a man who cannot think to speak clearly and logically become the leader of the Republic? Are we that far gone?  I don't like to think so.

“I’ve just concluded that for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.."
Ok, let me see if I understand sir. You have concluded for yourself "personally" to affirm that gender free couples should be able to marry. Ok, so, in your opinion, that is what you have expressed, your opinion, all of America should be governed by your opinion? That seems like a strange rule of law? It almost seems like whoever is in power determines, the moral law. That the highest authority is in fact man himself? But, wait doesn't nature tell us otherwise?

One more for fun. The President didn't want to explain to his daughters

"why somebody should be treated differently when it comes to eyes of the law.”
What about polygamists?  How about pedophiles? Does he have a problem explaining why they are treated differently? Or does he just tell his daughters that it is immoral behavior. Does he simply tell them that those type of actions are not to be condoned? On Polygamy we do not know? He refuses to answer.  His position may yet be evolving. The law is the cause for people who do thing wrong to be treated differently. Am I lobbying for a law against sodomy that is enforced? No, absolutely not. The fact, that an action is immoral does not require us to regulate and fine everyone who chooses to do the action. However, it does not mean we have to sanction and tolerate it either. In our struggle to live the Christian ethos we should love our brothers and sisters who struggle with sexual sin in the truth. That does not mean we normalize it and rationalize it away.

We are on a self-destructive road. We have a government that does not believe that there is anything objectively true about morality. Rather, sexual morality is viewed in terms of political gain. Can I use this group of people to score points and gain valuable campaign financing. What's next polygamy?  Maybe, the Presidents position is unclear. Bestiality?  If skittles has their way elementary school kids will be watching how to videos in short order.

Pray for men and women of courage to stand against the morally corrupt and bring our culture into a time of deepening faith and a greater use of reason.
